Avant-Garde Tailoring

Exploring traditional tailoring techniques within BA Garment Technology was made possible throughout. Focusing on conceptual tailored pieces found within runway, I was tasked with recreating one tailored jacket selected by peers/tutors. Jacket selected was this Michael Kors cape coat with detachable wrap over lapels, taken from his Fall 2020 collections "Cozy Luxury". Outer coat fabricated from 100% wool and lined with silk satin lining.
