Men's Historical Tailoring

Assembled during BA Garment Technology, this waistcoat and suit trousers set was produced in collaboration with the Birmingham Back to Back's, (B2B's). Using original 1970's tailoring patterns obtained from George Saunders archive, last resident to live and operate his  workshop at Court 15, (B2B's), it was my job to merge his original garment shape with 1920's suiting styles. Two-piece was created using navy pinstripe worsted wool and lined with paisley jacquard satin lining. Look was featured on display at the B2B's and is archived by The National Trust.
